I had a mixed experience at Stamford Bridge Hotel. The location next to Chelsea FC was fantastic, making it perfect for game day, but the room left much to be desired with its outdated decor and maintenance issues. While the beds were comfortable, the overall quality didn't match the price I paid, which felt a bit high for what I encountered.
Rooms
5.0
My room was fairly spacious, but it was dimly lit and certainly felt worn down. I encountered issues such as a leaking shower and outdated fixtures, which made it less inviting. However, the beds were comfortable, which was a plus.
Service
6.0
I didn't interact much with the staff, but when I did, they seemed helpful. I was able to leave my luggage with them for a few hours after checkout, which was appreciated. However, I did notice some inconsistent service at the bar, where it felt disorganized at times.
Location
8.0
The hotel’s proximity to Chelsea football stadium was a major highlight. It was also conveniently close to Public transport and local dining options, which made my exploration of London easier. I loved being just a short walk from the tube, which is vital in central London.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast provided a decent selection, but nothing stood out as really good. I had to go outside for breakfast most mornings since I found local cafes with better options.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel offered necessary amenities like Wi-Fi and comfortable beds, but the overall appearance of some facilities appeared dated. The bar area was chaotic, especially before the game, and seating was limited, which added to the frustration.

My stay at Stamford Bridge Hotel was a mixed experience. While I enjoyed the spaciousness of my club room and appreciated the complimentary drinks, I was disappointed by the outdated bathroom and the quality of the breakfast, which left much to be desired. The hotel's location was excellent, making it easy to explore London, but the expensive parking was a drawback.
Rooms

The club room was nice and spacious but had an outdated bathroom with signs of wear. The pillows were also quite hard.

I recently stayed at Stamford Bridge Hotel for a gallery visit and found it conveniently located near the underground and Chelsea FC. The room was spacious and clean, but I faced issues with the heating and a peculiar duvet arrangement. Breakfast was varied and enjoyable, but some staff interactions left me wanting more warmth and attentiveness. Overall, while the location was a highlight, I wouldn't choose to stay here again. 😕

My stay at Stamford Bridge Hotel was a mixed experience. The location was fantastic for exploring London and attending matches, and the breakfast was a standout with plenty of options. However, I encountered a few issues with room quality and service that detracted from the overall satisfaction.
Rooms

I initially booked a double room but was upgraded to a twin, which wasn't ideal. The room also felt smaller and darker than expected, and I struggled with a couple of minor maintenance issues.
Service

The staff were friendly and attentive, especially Tarek and Nicolas, who went above and beyond to assist. However, I did experience some frustrating delays with room service that were disappointing.

You can't beat the location—just a short walk to the action at Stamford Bridge and close to public transport. It was perfect for my trip focused on soccer.
Dining

Breakfast was a highlight for me, with a great selection of hot and cold items and freshly prepared eggs. I didn't try the dinner here, but there seemed to be a lot of dining options nearby.
Facilities

The hotel had clean and well-maintained amenities, and I appreciated the fitness options nearby. The check-in process could be smoother, but once sorted, everything else was fine.

Staying at Stamford Bridge Hotel definitely had its highs and lows. On one hand, I appreciated the friendly staff who went out of their way to assist me during my stay. On the other hand, I encountered some maintenance issues and outdated amenities that took away from the overall experience.
Rooms
6.0
My room had a cozy bed which helped with my sleep quality, but I did notice some peeling wallpaper and outdated decor that left a bit to be desired. There were also some comfort issues, like low water pressure in the shower and torn towels.
Service
7.0
The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, particularly during check-in and breakfast. I did experience some confusion with my room keys and had to lug my bags from one building to another, but the helpfulness of the staff almost made up for that.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was fantastic for accessing public transport and local attractions. I found it very convenient for catching the District line to various spots in the city and great for attending football matches at Chelsea.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was decent, with a variety of options available, though I wished for a more changing menu instead of the same spread each day. I did find good value in the meals provided, especially at breakfast.
Facilities
5.0
While the facilities such as room service and dry cleaning were handy, the hotel urgently needs a revamp for better amenities and upkeep. It wasn't quite what I expected, and I noted issues like broken equipment and a lack of concierge service.
